This year’s theme is ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself,’ encouraging self-discovery and growth.

Today, we mark 10 Years of the incredible NOW Fest

Today, we mark 10 Years of the incredible NOW Festival. ✨

Over the next three nights in the stunning St George's Hall, hundreds of children and young people will deliver a range of powerful performances covering issues that are important to them through a mental health lens.

Over the last decade, The NOW Festival has driven many significant ongoing mental health initiatives in Liverpool. We've seen the creation of online resources and the revised Resilience Framework.

One of the acts informed suicide prevention work, while mannequin displays across the city educated thousands on children's rights, contributing to Liverpool's recognition as a UNICEF Child-Friendly City.

Other outcomes include the ROAR Response to mental health in education programme and a city-wide review of mental health in schools.

The creation of the ACEs project coordinator role has developed the city's Growing Stronger Framework.

Collectively, these initiatives strengthen mental health systems and awareness across the city.

In Liverpool, mental health support for children and young people aged 0-25 and their families is delivered as a collaborative approach.

A partnership of NHS providers and 3rd sector organisations work together to provide services across different levels of need, from prevention – being mentally healthy – to high levels of specialist help.
