We are delighted to announce the Seedlings Project has been shortlisted for the Contribution to Services Category of the National CYPMH Awards which will take place at Manchester Town Hall on Saturday 6th January 2018 hosted by Mayor of Manchester Andy Burnham.
Seedlings is an early intervention therapeutic service ran by Young Person’s Advisory Service (YPAS) and PSS – Spinning World. The joint initiative offers more than 120 primary schools within Liverpool access to therapeutic services, providing an environment in which children feel safe enough to explore and express difficult feelings and experiences.
The Contribution to Services award is for an individual or group whose efforts in contributing to improving the quality of their local CYPMH services has been exemplary and inspiring to professionals and children and young people.
The awards are supported by Breakthrough MH, #PPiMH Collaborative, NHS England and NW Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Nicky Martin, Counselling and Psychotherapy Service Manager at YPAS added:
“We are really honored to be shortlisted for this National award. The Seedlings Project focuses on early intervention, which is the key to assisting children to reach their full potential. This is a really special achievement for the Seedlings Team and we are looking forward to the awards ceremony in the New Year”
