The overall aim of the Youth Connect 5 programme is to promote resilience (resilient families, ways to cope and support):
- Understanding children and young people’s mental health
- Understanding wellbeing
- Understanding why we feel the way we do (emotions)
- Life skills problem-solving
Once trained, trainees will then be able to provide a 5-session course to families and carers in a variety of settings such as community, work, youth and education settings.

Please note this event Liverpool school staff who work in years 5 and 6 and all secondary school staff. Also suitable for school mentors, pastoral leads, anyone who has a remit for working with parents, and heads of year staff.
