Incredible Years (IY)
This Parenting Programme focuses on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s experiences to promote their social and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. It is for any parent or carer of a child aged between 2 and 10 years old in Liverpool who wants to learn new ways to manage their child’s behaviour.

 


Bully Busters
BullyBusters | Services – You can always call BullyBusters for further advice; they can support you to get the best outcome for you and your child.

Call – 0800 169 6928. Their confidential freephone helpline operates between 3 pm – 6 pm, Monday to Friday.


Fresh Plus Group

Fresh+ runs a support group open to all parents or carers who have a child who has ever attended Liverpool Fresh CAMHS, EDYs at Alder Hey or is on the waiting list. It was set up by parents to provide parents/carers with a safe, non-judgmental place to find advice and support, an opportunity to talk about how you are feeling, to connect with other parents and carers and improve services. It is run by parents/carers who have children that are (or were) attending CAMHS and practitioners from Fresh, EDYs and Sefton CAMHS at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.   Support Group | freshplusgroup.org.uk

Neurodevelopmental Conditions Support

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network’s online Community Network Groups are an opportunity to discuss your current difficulties around neurodevelopmental conditions (NDCs). If you have concerns about your child’s behaviour or progress at school, these community network groups offer support to help you learn, understand and meet the needs of your child and family. During this session, you can view (if you wish) and talk to other parents, the ADDvanced Solutions Community Network team and other professionals who can help you. These sessions are delivered through Zoom for healthcare meetings, so please get in touch to register your interest and to receive your invitation. Groups are limited to ten people per session.

Family Learning Programmes and Workshops; structured programmes and workshops give parents, carers, and supporters the skills, knowledge and confidence to enable you to better recognise, understand and meet the needs of your family living with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning difficulties and associated mental health conditions. Their online learning programme for parents, carers and supporters who wish to gain knowledge and skills about their child’s neurodevelopmental condition, with strategies to support the various difficulties they may face.

Liv Pac
LivPac | Liverpool Parents and Carers Liverpool Parent and Carers Forum

(LivPaC) is a group of parents and carers of children and young people with special additional needs and/or disabilities (SEND) who work with education, health and care services to ensure the services they plan and deliver are fit for purpose and meet the needs of children, young people and their families across Liverpool.  They have a Steering Group of parent and carer volunteers who lead this work and who actively seek out the experiences and views of parents and carers across Liverpool to make sure we know what is important to them.
