Anyone who cares for or works with parents to be and babies and  toddlers, children and young people.

About the course: 

This introduction to attachment bite-size session will look at an introduction to attachment, firstly what attachment is and how it develops. The session will explore what gets in the way of developing healthy attachment and secondly what we to do when things don’t go to plan and the need to support and nurture positive healthy  attachments across all ages along with practical tips on how to do this. Overall, it will explore the importance of attachment for all to support good mental health and

Learning outcomes: 

Understand what attachment is and how it is linked to mental health and wellbeing

Increase knowledge of brain development and its impact of self, others and the world

What to do when things don’t go to plan

Key ingredients to nurture healthy attachment for all ages
