Social Media and Mental health via zoom

The social media and mental health bite-size course is aimed at anyone caring for or looking after children and young people. It provides insight into the current trending social media apps used by children and young people and how to protect their mental health while keeping them safe online.

 

In this bitesize course, we will explore:

•          The positives and negatives of using social media for our social and emotional wellbeing

•          Apps and platforms popular with young people, and why?

•          Bridging the gap between adults and young people

•          How to protect children and young people’s mental health and stay safe online

•          Support services and useful apps, websites and tools to support children and young people in                the online world.

**This bite-size course will be delivered via Zoom. You will receive confirmation of the Zoom prior to the course start date**
