Who is the course for?  This course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity), and parents, carers, or those caring for children and young people.

About this course Delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, this Bitesize course gives an insight into differences between low mood and depression, highlighting signs and symptoms to look out for in children and young people. The session provides tips and tricks you can foster when supporting your young people and information regarding further supporting and signposting such as helpful websites and apps.

Learning Outcomes: 

  1. Understanding the difference between low mood and depression. 
  2. Recognising signs and symptoms of low mood and depression. 
  3. Knowledge of where and when to signpost children and young people with low mood and depression. 

 

Time Length: 1 Hour 

Delivery method: Via Zoom. You will receive confirmation from the deliverer via email before the course date.
