Creative arts, early years and mental health
Join us as we use creative arts to engage in a discussion of mental health for early years, young people and families.
Artist Julie Mitchell in partnership with Merseyside Youth Association will explore different artistic techniques and help create a fun, collaborative piece of art to represent why mental health in the early years is so important and why creativity is so important to your mental health.
The aim of this workshop is to kickstart a conversation around the importance of mental health in the early years. We want to encourage parents and carers to engage in conversations around mental health, using the arts!
Each group is a creative series of building blocks, each representing key components in the early years such as the basics, feeling safe and communication.
