On 11th July at YPAS North Hub, YPAS and The Community Health Ambassador Team worked together to organise a community health morning for parents. It was well attended, with all parents benefiting from gaining lots of information.
Over the last several weeks, children from YPAS’s Smarty’s groups have been practising and preparing for their dance performance with Movema Dance and to be part of The Brouhaha Carnival. The ‘Carers Action Plan 2018-2020 – supporting carers today’ document sets out a two-year programme of cross-government work which will seek to build carer friendly communities and support carers to provide care in a way that protects their own health and wellbeing, employment and life chances.
On Saturday 12th May, Tuesday GYRO (12-16-year-olds) LGBTQ+ Youth and allies travelled to Manchester to attend the Art Activist competition hosted by The Proud Trust. This was a regional LGBTQ+ youth activist project that had young people from all over the North West descent upon Manchester to perform, display, act out their entries.
