Youth Action (YPAS) celebrates Transgender Day Of Visibility (TDOV)

On Sunday 31^st March 2019 THE Action Youth (YPAS’s trans* youth group) took part in an event to mark international Transgender Day Of Visibility (TDOV) at The Museum of Liverpool.

TDOV was founded in 2009 and is dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.

For the first time, Liverpool celebrated TDOV with a day of awareness, education and celebration which was supported by a number of different LGBTQ+ organisations and individuals.

Young people from THE Action Youth performed music and presented on some of the projects they have been involved in, including a young person who is in the process of making a short film on the experiences of trans* young people in education for Stonewall Young Campaigners.
