The Peer Action Collective (PAC) is a project funded by the Youth Endowment Fund.  As the lead organization within the partnership, YPAS will recruit 12 young people (16-20 yrs old) to undertake research with other young people to understand their experiences of violence within their communities and how best to tackle this through social action.

Peer Research and Social Action Network are funded through a unique partnership of the Youth Endowment Fund, The Co-op and #IWillFund The Peer Action Collective (PAC) is a project funded by the Youth Endowment Fund. It is a partnership that will recruit young people (16-20 yrs old) to undertake research with other young people to understand their experiences of violence with their communities and how best to tackle this through social action.

All too often, children and young people who experience violence aren’t heard. However, change will not happen if you’re not at the heart of it. That is why the PAC exists.

That means that young people will be in charge of asking questions and finding out what needs to happen to make the areas a better place for children and young people to live. But it’s about more than learning and about what needs to change.

Being part of the PAC means you’ll get support to take your research and turn it into action. From campaigning to improve local mental health services, setting up a youth Centre or supporting more young people into employment – together, we’ll create opportunities for young people to make communities a safer and fairer place.
