Members of the Mental Health Support Offer for Liv

Members of the Mental Health Support Offer for Liverpool’s Children & Young People design and deliver an ongoing programme of funded training opportunities.

Underpinned by therapeutic models, this is designed to educate and empower professionals, parents and carers as we strive to improve the knowledge and understanding of mental health among children and young people.

The @MYARAISETeam delivers these bite-size sessions, which can be accessed online and last up to one hour.

Young people told the @MYARAISETeam they wished their friends knew how to support them if they were struggling with their emotional wellbeing.

Working in collaboration with Liverpool Mental Health Support Partners and young people, the MYA RAISE Team developed ‘TOTEM’, an interactive, award-winning peer mentoring offer for secondary schools focusing on mental health.

Have your say on Liverpool’s new neurodivergent strategy

People across Liverpool are being encouraged to have their say on a new neurodivergent strategy for the city.

The Liverpool Neurodivergent All-Age Strategy, 2025-2030, has been co-produced by the Liverpool Neurodiversity Strategic Partnership and represents 18 months of development. Now, all stakeholders who live, work, or study in Liverpool are invited to give feedback during an eight-week consultation.

Feedback from the consultation will be used to further develop the strategy, which will inform future improvements to services for neurodivergent people and their families.

The consultation will close on 14 May.

Today, #FundTheHubs campaign partners have published A blueprint for Young Futures hubs.

We know that young people want equal access to flexible, safe, co-designed community services in this ever-changing world. That's why we're supporting the #FundTheHubsBlueprint, which sets out a roadmap for developing and implementing Young Futures hubs.

The campaign recommends that the Government should:
👉Commit to a multi-year funding package for roll out in the upcoming
Spending Review
👉Carry out a comprehensive cross-government consultation on delivering open access support for children and young people
👉Take a cross-departmental approach throughout the programme’s development
👉Develop joint commissioning guidance for local areas on
implementation
👉Design a clear and consistent outcomes framework with existing hub
providers
👉Set out a workforce development plan to support the roll out
👉Implement a learning and quality practice mechanism to support
continuous development.
