Who is the course for: this course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity), and parents, carers, or those caring for children and young people.

About the course: delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, this Bitesize course introduces psychosis and looks at various symptoms and behaviours. It considers the prevalence as well as the effects of psychosis whilst attaining helpful strategies to support children and young people secretly suffering from its reality. The training also explores the potential impact on families, encouraging alternative considerations.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. To Improve your knowledge and awareness of psychosis.
  2. Understand how the brain is impacted by psychosis.
  3. To see the signs and symptoms of psychosis.

 

Time length: 1 hour

Delivery method: via Zoom. You will receive confirmation of this from the deliverer via email prior to the course date.
