Who is the course for: this course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity), and parents, carers, or those caring for children and young people.
About the course: delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, this Bitesize course is delivered sensitively looking at various approaches to grief and loss whilst also considering developmental stages and individual understanding of the subject. Throughout the session, you will be introduced to the complexities of grief and be provided with tools and strategies to help struggling young people to guide them through their distress.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand bereavement issues and other losses faced by young people.
- Improve your understanding and knowledge of the theories of grief & loss.
- Attain further knowledge of agencies to support young people and children.
Time length: 1 hour
Delivery method: via Zoom. You will receive confirmation of this from the deliverer via email prior to the course date.
