Who is the course for: this course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity), and parents, carers, or those caring for children and young people.
About the course: The session introduces the resilience framework which was originated by Professor Angie Hart. Looking at the everyday normal magic that we use to help us navigate through the challenges we face and considering positive alternatives in spite of the difficulties. This session focuses on the three facets of the framework; firstly at the young person, then from the perspective as a parent/carer and finally as a school establishment. The training provides realistic examples of things to try in all three categories whilst exploring the 5 core elements of the framework.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand Resilience and its impact on children, parents and schools.
- How to use and navigate the Resilience Framework.
- The importance of implementing the Noble Truths.
Time length: 1 hour
