Who the course is for: this course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity).

About this course: Delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, and the MHST, this session will be a chance to reflect on this year’s theme of ‘Prioritising Mental Health in the Workplace’ discussing the importance of rest and self-care – especially when in the position of supporting children and young people with their mental health, and sharing how we are able to manage our mental health in the workplace.

Learning outcomes:

  • To understand the benefits of rest on the body
  • To reflect on how we can embed opportunities for rest and self-care into our workplace practice
  • To set anchor points in our schedules to prioritise rest and self -care.

Time length: 1 hour

Delivery method: Online via Zoom. A link will be emailed out to you a few days beforehand.
