The Neurodevelopmental Offer – Alder Hey
The neurodevelopmental offer for children, young people and their families has been commissioned by NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group to ensure services and support are available for those experiencing difficulties with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Sensory Processing Difficulties (SPD). This page will give you information on the neurodevelopmental support available within Liverpool CAMHS. Please see below for relevant information and support.

Information for Parents & Carers:
Pre diagnosis:
- Drop-in session with psychologist and ND practitioner – 30minute session – Tuesday mornings
- Keyworker allocated to child – keyworker available by telephone and will also signpost to appropriate support and services and training
During diagnosis / under assessment:
- Drop-in session with psychologist and ND practitioner – 30minute session – Tuesday mornings
- Contact with keyworker – telephone contact to keep up to date with progress on the pathway
Post diagnosis:
- Telephone contact with keyworker
No diagnosis given:
- Signpost to other support networks
For Supporting Professionals with neurodevelopmental offer:
What can we offer?
Pre diagnosis:
- Consultation with the ND practitioner
- Invitation to share information on child’s progress
During diagnosis / under assessment:
- Sharing information with parents’ consent
Post diagnosis:
- A report will be generated and distributed to professionals involved with parental consent
- In complex cases – the keyworker may attend MDT meetings
No diagnosis given:
- A report will be generated and distributed to professionals involved with parental consent
